Grizzly Decals (“us”, “we”) are a subsidiary of Zeller Writing Company, Inc., a registered S-Corp in the great state of Nebraska, USA. Our website address is https://www.GrizzlyDecals.com and our parent company’s website is https://www.ZellerWritingCompany.com.We’re operated by Aaron Zeller, Joanna Zeller, and anyone else that we bring in to help out including but not limited to additional family members or employees, both temporarily and permanently. We make high-quality vinyl decals and a few other products for our discerning clientele.
What Data We Collect
By interacting with us in any form, including but not limited to this website, our Etsy store, or any of our social media channels, we may collect a variety of information about you. This information may be provided at the time of purchase, such as your name, physical address, phone number, email address, and payment preferences. You’ll also provide your payment information during checkout, and you’ll have the option to save your payment source for later use; however, we do not have access to nor store that information locally. It’s encrypted and transmitted to our payment processor (Braintree/PayPal.)
Other information may be collected behind the scenes as you visit or interact with us. This information may include your IP address, sites or pages visited, general geographic location, browser information, device information, time on our site and pages, how you found our site, and a bunch of other details as part of our use of Google Analytics to help us better understand our customers. Why We Collect Your Data
While some of the data collection may be for obvious purposes, such as fulfilling and shipping your order, other may not be so apparent. The information that you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, email, and address, is used for things such as, but not limited to, to produce your products, ship your orders, process refunds, provide customer support, and for processes such as complying with legal obligations like taxes, for accounting purposes, to monitor and prevent fraud, and to send you updates about your order. If you choose to opt into our newsletter, we’ll use that relevant information for marketing purposes.
The data collected behind the scenes, such as IP address and browser details is used to help us learn about our website visitors and how to better optimize our website and services. Rarely can we actually tie that data to a specific person or visitor, but instead that information is collected and analyzed and spurted out to us as an interesting number or statistic.
Even though there aren’t currently any posts or pages on our site that allow for comments, we’re providing our policy here just in case we choose to add that functionality in the future.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
To create your decals, you may need to upload media to us via email or our online forms. Those uploads are encrypted, only accessible to our internal team, and only accessed when needed. When we upload proofs and mockups of your products to provide you with a digital proof, those images are then stored on our server is visible to anyone with a direct link to the image(s) or visits your digital proof page. Your digital proof pages are accessible to anyone with a direct link to the page (so you can share it with others.)
We provide a few different contact and information submission forms on our website. When using these forms, we will collect the name, email address, any media uploads, and any other information provided within that form. We do not use the information provided from those contact forms, unless directly specified or requested, for marketing purposes, such as email newsletters. As these forms typically result in an email message to us, the contents of that message are stored indefinitely or until we voluntarily choose to the delete the message and information.
Honestly, we don’t really know what internet cookies are. You can’t eat them and would probably taste like plastic if you could. From what we read on the internet, cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser to make your browsing experience more seamless and to help keep track of certain information (such as what’s in your shopping cart.) We accept payments through Braintree, which is owned by PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Braintree/PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. During checkout, we also offer the option to store your payment information for later use. If you select this option, your payment information will be stored with Braintree/PayPal and accessible via your account for future orders. Your financial information is completely encrypted and secure.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
With Whom We Share Your Data
We work to limit with whom we share your data and only provide information to third parties when necessary. We will share your data with relevant third-party service providers to provide various services or to fulfill your order. We share your name, address, email, and order information with our shipping partner, ShippingEasy.com or ShipStation.com to ship your order. Those services may also transmit your data to the United States Postal Service to create your shipping labels. If you sign up for our newsletter, your name and email address will go over to MailChimp.com for storage and service. When submitting payment, your financial data will get sent to Braintree/PayPal for processing, and storage if you select the option.
How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. (See Comments section, above.)
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile indefinitely unless it is edited or deleted by the user or website administrators. For record purposes, data attained from a purchase is retained indefinitely and will not be deleted.

Where We Send Your Data
We transfer your data electronically as needed to any third-party services provider to provide a service to you, fulfill an order, or for tracking purposes. For more details about with whom we share your data and the information collected, see the relevant sections, above. When we transmit your data, we do so securely via encrypted means through the use of SSL certificates and private API keys. The physical location of this information is dependent upon the server locations of the various service providers. As most providers will be using a cloud delivery network, it’s likely that the information is securely stored in multiple locations around the globe.
How We Protect Your Data
Our website is secured with an SSL and we only transmit your data using secure, private API or SFTP protocols. Internally, we limit access to customer information and uploaded information to individuals with a relevant need. Two-factor authentication is utilized for our internal teams whenever possible.
